Presenting: Retro Game Ultra Live

Coming soon to Twitch and Youtube is a (hopfully) Bi-weekly retro gaming event. Retro Game Ultra Live is a new live program which will be part Let's Play, part Reviews and 100% good times. Allow me to take a moment to outline the show in a broad sense.

Each broadcast will have a featured game to be played live by Tom (Famed Mikeandgames Cohost) and Myself (Famed brother of famed Mikeandgames Cohost Tom). We'll discuss the game as we make our way through in a fairly standard let's play style segment. The playthrough will be interupted however aproximatly every 10 or so minutes where prerecorded segments that had been repared for the show will play. The segments will run the gauntlet from op eds to gameshow like sections to the reviews you've come to expect from MTGG.

A few of the planned segments so far are as follows:

Takahashi Challenge Bout:

In this segment a guest player will attempt to see how far they can get within the brutally difficult Hudsonsoft classic "Adventure Island" AKA Takahasi Meijin no Boukenjima. They have a time limit of 10 minutes and 3 lives for their attempt. Something will ensue.

My Famicom Box:

I pick a random game from a box containging my Famicom stash and play and breifly review it. Mostly my goal will be to highlight as many interesting facts about the title as posssible before the first level is finished.

Tom's Twilight Princess Glitch Log:

Tom explores the full extent of one the Zelda's most famous glitches "The Early Master Sword Glitch" from Twilight Princess and records his expiriences with it's strange effects i.e Link the contortionist.

Beyond all of this we hope to take every oprotunity to ingage the people who take their time to watch us. Q&A's aswell as Special Viewer requested segments and games are planned.

The show will take a while to fully develop and shoot since school is a big time consumer at the moment but we hope you will stay with us and enjoy Retro Game Ultra when it finally hits the internet.

Approx Episode Length: 42 Minutes.
